Clean Dessert Parfait



Have you ever ran through the McDonald's drive-thru and wanted to be "healthy"....soooo you grabbed their fruit & yogurt parfait?? I HAVE!! I used to grab it on the run ALL of the time!!! Little did I know what was in it, & how it was NOT helping my weight loss goals!! 

Below is the calorie and nutrition info of the Fruit and Yogurt Parfait from McD's! Yes -- its "ONLY" 150 calories, BUT it is high in sugar in both their vanilla yogurt AND in the granola. (taken from calorieking.com)


INSTEAD -- why not try to make a CLEAN version?? Here is an idea that I took off of teambeachbody.com AND its perfect for Memorial Day or the Fourth of July :) This is how I would prepare it but you can add more or less ingredients as you see fit! 

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 c plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 c Strawberries 
1/2 c Blueberries
1 TSP of honey drizzled over the top 
Top with sugar free granola



You can layer this and create a red, white and blue "look" or just add all of the ingredients in a bowl and ENJOY!! Either way -- YOU are being HEALTHIER and cleaner and treating your body well!!
