Clean BURGER Recipe!


YAAAAAY!!! It is FINALLY WARM outside!!! It is TIME to be outside and ENJOYING the SUNSHINE!!!





My family and I have certainly been taking advantage of grilling season lately! We've been grilling out veggies, fish, leftover fruits -- you name it -- we grill it! ;)

One of my FAVORITE foods to make on the grill are burgers!! We ALL know that the regular old juicy, fatty burger isn't so "friendly" IF you have health and fitness goals like I do! SO, I love to make healthy turkey burgers with some flava!




This is what I do.......and these are the ingredients I use:

Ingredients:

1 package of ground turkey -- lean
1 egg
I red onion
Garlic to your taste
1 yellow pepper
Mrs Dash Fiesta Lime seasoning
Garlic powder
Salt/Pepper to taste
**Cheddar (or any type of cheese IF you prefer)**

Directions: 

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey with the egg. Sprinkle in seasonings 

Slice and dice the red onion, garlic, and pepper (& cheese if you prefer) & mix in with the ground turkey mixture.

Separate into patties and they are ready to GRILL & enjoy!!

Grill each patty until they are cooked to your liking!

Pair with a grilled veggie of your choice {we love brussel sprouts, zucchini, asparagus....}

For anyone doing the 21 DAY FIX, this would be considered a RED and possibly half of a blue or a full blue depending on how you measure. I would consider about a 3-4 oz one red container. :)
