Ground Turkey with Onions & Peppers

This is a staple in our house!
It's quick.....it's easy....it's delicious and nutritious!
It's loaded with protein and helps to keep you full for a longer period of time than a carb-loaded meal.

Ingredients:

*One package go ground turkey, 93% lean (( you can also substitute ground chicken or pork))
*One pepper
*One Spanish onion
*Seasonings (( I use Mrs. Dash, garlic powder and any other low-sodium seasoning))
*Coconut Oil


Directions:
Begin by melting some coconut oil in your pan so the the bottom of your pan is coated.
Slice and dice your peppers and onions & sautée until soft.
Add the ground turkey and season.
Mix the turkey in with the peppers and onions.
Cover and dimmer on a medium heat for 20-30 minutes or until the turkey is cooked thoroughly.


Serve with a side of sautéed or grilled veggies and some quinoa, brown rice or a sweet potato!
